About Aaron Porzio-Diaz, PMHNP-BC
Aaron is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who helps children, adolescents, and adults. He uses the biopsychosocial model and patient-centered, evidence-based approaches, like mindfulness, yoga, and nutrition counseling, to promote prevention and wellness through education and integrative care. Aaron aims to empower patients to participate actively in their treatment plans. His passion for mental health ignited during his first role as an EMT, where he witnessed the raw, often overlooked struggles of those with mental health issues. This experience inspired Aaron to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, driven to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Outside work, Aaron enjoys getting lost in a good book, exploring nature on a hike, or enjoying a peaceful moment to recharge. These personal escapes help him feel serenity and focus during his workday.Education & Certifications
