About Abigail "Abby" Giancola, PMHNP-BC
Abby helps individuals define and achieve their goals while improving their overall well-being. Known for her genuine and approachable style, she creates a non-judgmental space where patients feel truly heard, validated, and respected. Abby emphasizes open communication and collaboration in each session, ensuring patients feel supported and empowered to progress. She believes that exercise and diet are largely underutilized to stabilize mood and encourages these as part of her treatment plan. Abby was drawn to the mental health field and feels uniquely qualified in this field, particularly in working with individuals struggling with addiction and substance use disorders. She challenges the societal stigma around these conditions, advocating for accessible, judgment-free care. Outside of work, Abby enjoys staying active with biking, roller skating, swimming, kayaking, and CrossFit — although she doesn't really excel at any of her athletic endeavors.Education & Certifications
