About Ana Boise, LPC
Ana wanted to become a counselor since the fourth grade when she volunteered as a peer mediator to help her classmates resolve conflicts. She focuses on children, adolescents, adults, and individuals who have been incarcerated. Ana has a trauma-informed lens utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical therapy. She provides gender-affirming care and works with people with developmental disabilities, dissociative disorders, personality disorders, sexual functioning concerns, and schizophrenia. Ana has volunteer experience running summer camps for Children’s National Hospital and working in homeless shelters and outreach programs with AmeriCorps. She enjoys reading, the beach, walking while listening to music, and TV shows and podcasts about forensic science.Conditions Treated
