About Christopher Hammond, LCMHC
Chris employs a humanistic and existential approach in his therapy, viewing his patients as experts on their own lives. He integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness practices. Chris aims to guide and collaborate with his patients, helping them gain deeper self-understanding and move toward a fulfilling life.
Chris’ passion for mental health stems from a lifelong curiosity about the human condition. To him, therapy uniquely reveals the complexities of being human. He is dedicated to helping others and fostering a sense of wholeness in those he works with. Chris believes that true fulfillment comes from exploring our curiosities and the many facets of ourselves. He is an avid reader, tennis player, guitarist, and artist.
