Everyone is genuinely caring. My TMS team (Rachel and Dr. Capelouto) are very knowledgeable and explain things in a way that s easy to understand. This experience with TMS is a lot different than my previous round at an out of state facility in that here, there is a weekly check in with adjustments being made as needed. When my experience is that my provider is invested in me and my treatment, it encourages me to pay more attention to my progress and treatment response.

I found Dr. Capelouto to be UNUSUALLY insightful in understanding the nature of my challenges. Dr. Capelouto is highly perceptive, genuinely empathetic, and very calming in his manner. I look forward to continuing to see Dr. Capelouto for my treatment. This was my first appointment with Dr. Capelouto and I was very impressed with his ability to obtain medical history from me and thoughtfully and HELPFULLY comment on my medical history: quite unlike my experience with some other local psychiatrists. I also really liked that he was not eager to immediately change my current medication regimens, and was glad to maintain the medications that have stabilized my condition. Again, this is quite unlike other local psychiatrists, who immediately want to change a patient's long-term medication regimen to show how important THEY are.

My doctor, Dr. David Capelouto, has hit the proverbial nail on the head (perhaps not the best metaphore for a psychiatrist.) He suggested gene testing to eliminate medications I had been taking for years and to prescribe the right ones for my genetic makeup. He has cut the number of meds I take in half, down to just 3. I have not felt this good psychologically in decades. I have only the highest praise for Dr. Capelouto's approach. When I first came to him, I was sleeping every chance I could. Now I am up and active again, very positive outlook. Hail Dr. Capelouto !
