About Jaclyn Bauer, PHDDr. Jaclyn Bauer has more than 10 years of experience working with adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, mood disorders, and substance use. Dr. Bauer has a humanistic approach incorporating techniques from cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies. She has experience working with a team of inpatient and outpatient medical directors, psychiatrists, nutritionists, social workers, counselors, and therapists. She understands that it is normal for people to feel stuck, anxious, and depressed. Through her own journey, Dr. Bauer discovered that talking about fears, thoughts, and feelings helped her feel better. She recently relocated back to California after living in Texas for five years. Dr. Bauer loves being outdoors, scuba diving, and trying new foods.
