About Jerri Sendach, PhDDr. Jerri Sendach is a clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience. She helps with anxiety, intrusive worrying thoughts, depression, grieving, loneliness, and unsatisfactory relationships. Dr. Sendach provides help for people transitioning in all life's stages, from establishing an independent, confident identity in young adulthood to maintaining purpose, relationships, and joy in later years. She uses traditional therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral and short-term problem-focused therapies. Therapy is individualized and provided with warmth, acceptance, and respect. Dr. Sendach has a special interest in helping people in addiction recovery and 12-step programs and supports psychoeducation for their family members. She completed a post-doctoral psychotherapy program at Adelphi University.
