About Kellyn Gimbel, PA
Ms. Gimbel believes that when a patient chooses to take care of their mental health, they are choosing to improve their overall health from the inside out. She understands the physical effects that ongoing stress can place on an individual’s mind, body, and wellbeing, and seeks to work together with patients to help provide the tools needed to achieve a sense of calm control over one’s mental stressors. Ms. Gimbel sees each patient as a unique individual whose input into therapeutic decisions is prioritized and valued. Her approach to patient care centers around identifying goals; she knows any big goal is comprised of many small goals, and she strives to assist and encourage her patients throughout the ups and downs of their mental wellness journey. Ms. Gimbel’s interest in mental health care began while she earned her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She then attended UNC-Chapel Hill to receive her education in Physician Assistant Studies. She enjoys working with patients of all backgrounds and has special interests in anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, bipolar disorders, trauma/PTSD, adjustment issues, LGBTQ+ issues, women’s issues, and adolescent and adult mental health.
