About Kyla McClure, LMFT
Kyla approaches therapy by treating the whole person, understanding that each patient’s unique beliefs, experiences, and strengths inform their healing journey. She views her role as a facilitator, helping individuals create their own meaning from life’s challenges and experiences. Using person-centered and trauma-focused modalities, Kyla has extensive experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, ADHD, and trauma survivors. Her commitment to breaking mental health stigma drives her passion for empowering patients to embrace their authentic selves and work through their difficulties. Kyla fell in love with psychology as a teenager, and that passion continues to inspire her practice today. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, art, photography, and music, which enrich her life and self-care routine. She draws inspiration from Maggie Stiefvater’s quote, “If you cannot be unafraid, be afraid and happy,” reflecting her belief in finding joy and resilience, even amidst life’s most challenging moments.Education & Certifications
