About Lauren Chua, LMFT
Lauren’s approach is eclectic and patient-centered, enriched by attachment theory, mindfulness, and social justice issues. She brings a unique blend of skills to support each individual, using her calm presence, active listening, and deep empathy to build a safe foundation. Lauren helps patients with life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, and past trauma. She trusts patients' innate ability to connect with themselves and feels honored to support their healing process.
Since childhood, Lauren has been interested in psychology. She finds meaning in accompanying others on their journeys of self-connection and healing. A highly sensitive person, she uses this trait to enhance her attunement and presence. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, she serves and supports its members. Lauren's pursuits in visual arts, music, dance, writing, and yoga enrich her life and therapeutic practice.
