About Robert Tod Carver, LCSW, LCASA

Tod Carver became a clinical social work/therapist to help others make changes in their lives as a social worker once did for him. He had a very successful career in upper-level retail management that he found unfulfilling and sought out a new career that would have a lasting effect on others. Tod is most passionate about helping patients reach their goals, whatever they may be. Taking the journey of change with people is one of the most fulfilling things he has ever experienced. It’s always nice to see patients work through whatever they need to and see them come out on the other side of it. Tod believes therapy is not about creating something or someone new. It’s about exploring and finding what is holding patients back and keeping them from meeting their true potential, breaking down those barriers so that they can live their best authentic life. Tod truly enjoys helping people reach their full potential. Patients always tell him that his therapeutic style is different than other therapists as he strives to make his sessions more of a conversation with a friend than a scary, awkward meeting. He also believes in people and recognizes that anyone can change.
