About Sarah Oxendine, LPC
Sarah Oxendine specializes in providing individual counseling services from teenage to late adulthood ages. She is passionate about helping those going through hardship find understanding and move forward in their journey. She uses an eclectic blend of techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. Sarah earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Master of Art Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She is fully licensed as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. She is also fully licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor. Sarah began her career working with college students and adults with mental, physical, and intellectual disabilities, and fully enjoyed working with this population. She believes her experience working in a college taught her to become adaptable to her patient's needs whether that is providing career counseling, finding practical solutions, or processing hard life transitions and events. In therapy, Sarah will assist her patients to develop their goals and provide the support to help them towards achieving goals.Conditions Treated
