About Scott Berlin, Psy.D.

Scott Berlin has been working in the mental health field for almost 20 years. Dr. Berlin has also maintained a private practice for the past 12 years. Some of the areas of specialty that Dr. Berlin presently enjoys working with are; marital conflicts, depression, various concerns associated with adolescents, anxiety disorders and individuals struggling with drug related dependencies or addictions. Dr. Berlin's therapeutic orientation can be most succinctly described as paralleling a humanistic and interactive model of therapy which draws upon a wide range of techniques and styles. He is especially concerned with fostering a strong and trustworthy rapport by providing a warm, friendly and non-judgmental atmosphere. Because Dr. Berlin is acutely aware of the nature of human differences and individual needs, he works to actively shape and customize his therapeutic approaches in accordance with his patient's goals.
