About Taylor Brower, LCSW, LCAS
Ms. Brower’s objective is to help each person realize they are unique, resilient, and capable, deserving of happiness, confidence and self-worth. She knows that her patients are so much more than a diagnosis. Taylor was drawn to mental healthcare because she wanted to turn her knack for giving advice into a meaningful and impactful way to help those in need. Since becoming a professional therapist, she has realized that, instead of giving advice, her job involves offering space and tools for patients to acknowledge their strengths and natural abilities in overcoming obstacles. Described as honest, forthcoming, understanding, and fun, Ms. Brower loves to laugh and loves to make others laugh. Combining creativity with pragmatism, Taylor adapts her approach to each patient’s unique needs, providing individualized care while continuing to adhere to evidence-based techniques. As a therapist, she is motivated by seeing people improve over the course of treatment. She values moments when patients smile, thrive, or triumph over difficulties. Ms. Brower draws inspiration from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s wisdom that, “the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” Taylor strives to help everyone she works with find happiness and peace during difficult times.

Taylor identified something for me about personal connection, that my entire family has struggled with mightily. She crystallized it succinctly, so I can now help my adult children better understand how to relate to others. When traversing the autism spectrum, this is like finding gold. Being technically challenged, I utilized Mindpath tech support and with additional help from Taylor- it worked. Taylor is an exceptional professional. With wisdom that belies her youth, she captures the essence of the disconnect and suggests a plan, offering tools that enable me to make progress toward my dream- independence for my children.

With the complex entangled challenges I crammed into my introductory hour, Ms. Brower listened intently, disentangled expertly, and conveyed to me a thorough understanding of my family s challenges. I have yet to find a professional as skilled. I only wish there were one of her for each of us.
