About Zainab Al-Dhaher, MD

Dr. Zainab Al-Dhaher is a board-certified psychiatrist who helps children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Dr. Al-Dhaher is passionate about empowering the entire family unit and strengthening school and community support when working with children and teenagers. She believes mindfulness, a healthy lifestyle, and strong social connections are crucial to improving mental health. Dr. Al-Dhaher takes a psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and family-based approach to therapy. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and her child and adolescent fellowship at New York University and Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Al-Dhaher enjoys traveling.
