Yanique’s approach is grounded in listening and fully understanding patients before making a diagnosis or beginning a treatment plan. Yanique was inspired to work in mental health after working in emergency medicine and her time serving in the military. She saw firsthand how limited access to care, stigma, and unaddressed mental health challenges deeply affected individuals and families. She believes seeking support is a sign of strength and is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable taking that step.
Outside of work, she enjoys the simple things, spending time with loved ones, exploring different cuisines, and discovering hidden gems. She values balance, creativity, and finding joy in everyday moments, and tries to bring that same spirit into her work, encouraging patients to find what that looks like for them.
