Nancy (she/her) utilizes trauma-informed care along with cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, and prolonged exposure therapy. Nancy places emphasis on creating a warm and welcoming environment in session. Nancy hopes to support clients in navigating ways to identify and improve their mental health and overall well-being.
Nancy specializes in working with anxiety, depression, adoption, grief, infertility, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, rape and sexual assault, and intimate partner violence. Nancy feels especially empowered supporting clients who have been through traumatic experiences and finding opportunities for healing. She realized she wanted to work with individuals who had experienced trauma when volunteering at a rape crisis center in Guam.
When not at work Nancy loves being outdoors, whether running, mountain biking, hiking, playing with her dog or enjoying San Diego’s beauty. She recognizes the importance in focusing on the simpler things in life.
