About
Anita approaches therapy with a warm, compassionate, and strengths-based perspective, meeting each person where they are and recognizing that everyone’s experiences and goals are unique. Anita uses trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, psychoeducation, emotional regulation, and practical coping strategies. She believes therapy is most effective when it is a collaborative experience built on trust, respect, and a strong therapeutic relationship. Anita focuses on helping patients recognize their strengths, build resilience, find hope, and feel empowered to create meaningful change. She believes therapy can support greater balance, personal growth, and movement toward the quality of life each person desires.
Anita was inspired to pursue a career in mental health by her deep commitment to supporting others. With over 15 years of experience, she is passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space where individuals feel seen, heard, valued, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.
Anita is a proud mother, wife, and pet mom, as well as a U.S. Army veteran. Outside of her work as a therapist, Anita enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, reading, writing poetry, listening to music, and attending plays. She loves exploring new places, learning about different cultures, enjoying good food, and creating meaningful experiences with the people she loves.
