Cindy’s approach is grounded in empathy and collaboration, where decisions are made as a team, focusing on what works best for the patient. She believes that healing for patients isn’t just about reducing emotional pain, it’s about reclaiming who they are, their inner strength, and confidence. Her guiding philosophy is mindful momentum: the idea of being fully present and moving forward in life with intention, awareness, and purpose. She uses techniques from positive psychology, solution-focused brief therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. She strives to listen with an open mind, seeing the individual as a whole person with consideration to physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Cindy chose to work in behavioral health because she saw how the stigma around mental illness can prevent individuals from getting help. Her goal is to break down those barriers and educate others, ensuring that everyone has access to the compassionate care they deserve. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys traveling, working on digital designs, and exercising. One of her favorite quotes is by Nelson Mandela, “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” These powerful words remind us that our perceptions of what is possible are often self-limiting, and that determination and persistence breaks down those limits, challenges, and barriers.
