Danielle’s (she/her; they/them) approach is collaborative and strengths-based, helping patients manage and build capacity to navigate their experiences. No matter where an individual is in life, acknowledging complexities—while also strengthening coping around these complexities—is key to healing and thriving. Danielle uses client-centered and Gestalt therapies, cognitive- and dialectical-based therapies, attachment-based therapy, emotion-focused, problem solving, and added mindfulness-based strategies to manage symptoms. They also use a trauma responsive approach to further support patients’ management of symptoms.
Danielle has always felt at ease with others, and patients feel comfortable trusting her with their authentic selves and sharing their struggles and joys. They are inspired by an individual’s progress and are grateful to act as their supportive guide through their mental health journey. Danielle tends to gravitate towards methods to reconnect the mind and body to the present moment amid change. They continually focus on strengthening their clinical skills that support others in self-understanding, acceptance, and being open to navigating life’s difficulties.
Outside of the therapy space, Danielle is an enthusiastic bird watcher and Yogi, and spends time in nature, laughing with kin and friends, dancing, and writing poetry. These are ways she reconnects her own mind and body to clinically support others.
