Dr. Cox’s approach is centered on building a collaborative relationship based on trust, respect, and understanding. He believes that every person brings a unique set of experiences, strengths, and challenges, and he strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable being themselves without judgment.
Dr. Cox focuses on listening carefully, maintaining an open mind, and working with patients to develop practical, individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and values. His philosophy is that meaningful progress often comes from a combination of self-understanding, evidence-based treatment, and a strong therapeutic partnership.
Dr. Cox genuinely enjoys getting to know people, understanding their unique stories, and helping them navigate life’s challenges, and for him, seeing patients develop greater self-awareness, build resilience, and make meaningful progress is what makes this work so fulfilling.
As a military veteran who has lived in many different regions of the United States, he values the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his Siberian Husky, gardening and cultivating flowers, and exploring the outdoors. He appreciates the patience and steady growth that gardening teaches, qualities that often mirror the process of personal growth and healing.
