Gayatri (she/her) believes we all have the inner resources to change and grow, and that people have the power to author their own stories. She brings warmth and humor to therapy, creating a safe space for patients to explore their challenges and discover solutions.
Gayatri uses Motivational Interviewing, Narrative therapy, and Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies to help patients work through the impact of childhood and other traumas, improve family relationships and self-esteem. She also supports students with life skills and managing their independence as young adults. She is experienced in working with the unique challenges of gifted individuals and provides culturally sensitive therapy for individuals with multicultural roots. Her collaborative and interactive approach helps patients build confidence and craft strong personal narratives.
Gayatri was inspired to become a clinician while raising bicultural and biracial children who faced social challenges during their teen years. She loves animals, a good cup of tea, and spending time in nature. Gayatri is an avid tennis fan and can often be found glued to the TV during the Grand Slams.
