Katherine approaches patient care in a way that is tailored toward each individual. She is holistic in care, and her guiding philosophy is to not focus solely on presenting symptoms, but rather on the whole person, including medical maladies and other causative factors. This approach reduces risk and ensures that the treatment plan is personalized to each patient.

Katherine was drawn to the mental health field after working in a pediatric intensive care unit and volunteering at a summer camp for children in foster care. While at camp, she sustained a back injury that caused her to reflect on her life and goals. She felt drawn to working with at-risk children and adults, striving to provide mental health treatment where it was significantly lacking.

Outside of work, Katherine enjoys self-proclaimed “basic” activities such as window shopping and browsing through TJMaxx. She often spends lazy weekends with her husband and dogs and has recently begun going to the gym. She likes to be in nature—near water—and can often be found in a hammock.
