Kelli always knew she wanted to be a teacher or a “counselor.” Kelli was drawn to this work as a child after experiencing a traumatic event. Kelli is known to help support clients through warmth, humor, and a strong passion for supporting her community.
Kelli’s clinical approach integrates evidence-based, relational, strengths-based, and cognitive behavioral therapies as well as dialectical behavioral therapy. Kelli works primarily with clients struggling with trauma, addiction, and mood disorder symptoms. With Kelli’s approachability, compassion, and experience, Kelli supports clients to lead a more independent life, breaking free from the destructive patterns they may be challenged with.
Kelli helps patients increase their awareness of their negative self-talk, while using approaches that allow for accountability and change. Kelli often supports clients to become more connected to their local community and other support services, helping to decrease the shame and isolation many experience with trauma and other mental health challenges.
Outside of clinical work, Kelli enjoys being a mom to teens, walking her maltipoo Penny, and loves all things music, and almost always has a concert planned.
