Kevin Cavazos (he/him) was drawn to mental health by a deep, innate empathy and intuition for guiding others through life’s complexities. With a compassionate and trusted approach, Kevin offers a grounded space for genuine healing. While he deeply enjoys helping college and graduate students navigate identity, academic stress, and pivotal transitions, he is equally dedicated to supporting adult clients from all walks of life as they seek balance.
Kevin’s treatment philosophy is heart-centered, holistic, and psychosynthesis-informed, guiding clients to gently confront, integrate, and accept all aspects of their experience. He integrates Psychodynamic therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy, alongside trauma-informed interventions. His clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma/PTSD, self-harm, relational dynamics, life transitions, emotional/nervous system regulation, mood disorder, disassociation, and gender-affirming care for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Outside of his clinical work, Kevin enjoys creative writing, art and photography, exploring nature, listening to music, and engaging with family and friends.
