Mindpath College Health serves college and university students, faculty, and staff.
Marisol (she/her) is a therapist who was drawn to the mental health field because she believes in the importance of having a safe and supportive space to talk through life’s challenges and feel genuinely heard and understood. She enjoys working with college students, in particular first-generation students, as they navigate a time of self-discovery and change. She recognizes that college can be quite challenging with academics, relationships, and increasing independence. So, she strives to create a warm and nonjudgmental space to explore, plan, discuss, and reflect.
Marisol uses a person-centered approach and integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) principles in her sessions. She works alongside individuals to create a life that they find meaningful. She holds sessions in person and via telehealth for both individuals and couples.
Outside of the therapy room, you can find her social dancing or playing/helping her own dog overcome anxiety.
