Dr. Patel’s approach is rooted in building a strong therapeutic alliance based on trust, empathy, and respect. She strives to create an open environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their experiences, while recognizing the importance of their personal values, cultural background and life circumstances. She takes a collaborative, evidence-based approach to care, combining psychopharmacology with lifestyle and behavioral interventions to develop individualized treatment plans. Her goal is to partner with each patient to identify meaningful, achievable goals and support them in making lasting improvements in their mental health and overall well-being.
Dr. Patel was inspired to pursue mental health after seeing how profoundly mental well-being can shape every aspect of a person’s life. While mental health conditions are common and highly treatable, stigma can often prevent individuals from seeking the care they deserve. She is passionate about breaking down these barriers and helping patients feel comfortable seeking support without judgment. She finds it deeply rewarding to help patients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work toward greater clarity, resilience, and an improved quality of life. Outside of work, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with family, traveling, dancing, and exploring new restaurants.
