Rachel (she/her) provides compassionate, collaborative therapy grounded in the belief that self-understanding and self-compassion are the foundations for lasting change. She was drawn to therapy from a genuine interest in and curiosity about people and how to help them live more fulfilling lives. She especially enjoys working with college and graduate students as they navigate the particular challenges of academic life and transitioning to adulthood.
She works from an Internal Family Systems (IFS) perspective while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other approaches to meet each client’s unique needs, guided by a philosophy of self-exploration. IFS operates from an assumption that people are made up of many different parts with many different perspectives, and Rachel values helping people explore and build relationships with all their parts. Rachel also has a passion for supporting neurodiverse individuals.
When she’s not at work, Rachel enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her pets.
