About
Rebecca’s approach to care is rooted in collaboration and trust. She believes it’s vital that her patients feel they’re in the “driver’s seat” and will tailor the overall therapy experience to the individual and their specific needs. Her guiding philosophy is that patients are the experts of their own life and she’s the consultant. She often works with individuals to find their strengths and then applies those strengths to other areas in life where they may be struggling. She strives to provide a safe space for patients to express their feelings and needs. Rebecca is also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, ERP for OCD, I-CBT for OCD and PMH-C for perinatal mood health.
Rebecca’s grandfather was a clinical psychologist. Growing up, they would discuss the mind and its influence on people. She attributes her interest in counseling to him and those talks. She considers herself a lifelong learner and continues to train and earn certifications in mental health. Outside of work, Rebecca loves pilates and cooking.
