About
Dr. Chun strives to create a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their care. Her approach focuses on understanding each person as a whole while providing individualized, evidence-based treatment tailored to their unique needs, goals, and life experiences. Her strengths as a clinician include thoughtful listening, empathy, and building strong therapeutic relationships grounded in trust and open communication. She believes mental health care is most effective when patients feel actively involved in their treatment and supported throughout the process.
Dr. Chun was inspired to pursue mental health care through her interest in the connection between emotional wellness, lifestyle, and overall quality of life. She enjoys helping adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions while supporting resilience and long-term well-being. When working with children and adolescents, she values being part of their crucial developmental years and guiding families on how to best support their child in ways that can positively impact long-term growth, emotional well-being, and resilience.
Outside of work, Dr. Chun enjoys exploring different restaurants with her husband and spending time with her Goldendoodle, Ollie.
