Shayna utilizes a holistic and integrative approach specifically designed to meet each patient’s unique needs while providing a supportive, safe, and comforting environment. Her philosophy is to empower and guide patients to a place of authenticity, self-acceptance, and emotional wellbeing in order to live a fulfilling life. Together with patients, Shayna focuses on increasing self-awareness, strengthening communication, fostering emotional regulation, and cultivating healthier relationships. Her goal is not only symptom relief, but deeper connection, meaning, and sustainable well-being that patients can carry beyond the therapy room.
Shayna is often inspired and moved by patients’ capacity to grow, repair, and reconnect. Her path towards mental health was shaped by a deep curiosity about human relationships and the ways people grow through adversity. Over time, she saw how unspoken emotions, inherited patterns, and unmet needs can quietly shape lives, and felt called to help people make sense of those patterns and move toward healing and connection. Shayna sees therapy as a collaborative process rooted in trust, curiosity, and hope. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature, painting, and trying different types of tea.
