Dr. Dela Cruz approaches her patients with compassion, respect, and a holistic biopsychosocial lens that informs the direction of her care. Her training has fostered a strong psychotherapeutic background and medical knowledge that is utilized in patient visits. Additionally, she completed specialized training in interventional psychiatry under the tutelage of world-class leaders in the field. Her goal is to provide comprehensive care that covers the entire spectrum of psychiatric services.
During her third year of medical school, Dr. Dela Cruz decided to focus on psychiatry. She found it to be riveting and exciting, knowing the approach to each patient is different despite having the same diagnosis. Her ability to connect with people and relate to them in a deep way has led to very meaningful relationships with patients and she finds it fulfilling to partner with them in working towards a vibrant life that they love.
