Dr. Jorge Dubin wanted to be a doctor at six years old after observing his father as a physician. Dr. Dubin pursued this dream, and while in residency, was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served for two years as a medical officer with the Special Forces (Green Berets). After serving in the U.S. Army, Dr. Dubin later moved to Los Angeles and worked for the county mental health department for ten years.
