Kari collaborates with patients to support personal journeys towards emotional growth and holistic healing. She values diverse identities and ways of being, with a focus on patients’ strengths, while embracing a spirit of compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person. Kari’s relevant experiences in hospice, child welfare, and K-12 bilingual teaching inform her capacity to partner alongside patients. Additionally, she uses eclectic strategies to support patients managing anxiety, depression, chronic and life-limiting illnesses, stressful life transitions, as well as loss, trauma, and grief.
In her free time, Kari practices self-care through cardio-strength dance, yoga, and ice skating. A lifelong leader, Kari is also working on her doctoral degree in clinical social work.
