About
Dr. Boggs has dedicated over 15 years to serving the mental health treatment needs of children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She understands that individuals exist in the families and communities in which they live and thus, treatment success must extend to work, school, and daily activities to have long-lasting results. Dr. Boggs specializes in the treatment of anxiety conditions, ADHD, autism, and family therapy. She provides comprehensive psychological assessment to determine individual strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, Dr. Boggs works with young patients and their caregivers, helping parent-child dyads to develop healthy attachment, achieve developmental milestones, and overcome parenting challenges.
Dr. Boggs’ interest in mental health stems from her personal experience overcoming selective mutism and social anxiety disorder. She began speaking in public at age 15 and although it seemed unlikely, she aspired to learn to sing. Her initial goal of becoming a singer and actress led Dr. Boggs to learning skills very similar to those used in cognitive-behavioral therapy. Her passion soon shifted to helping others overcome school and social challenges. She continues to sing when she can and enjoys spending time outdoors with her human and four-legged companions.
