About
Li takes a holistic approach to address the whole person and tries to improve quality of life and overall well-being. She builds trust in the therapeutic relationship by being respectful, empathetic, and nonjudgemental while maintaining professional boundaries. She collaborates with patients in a shared-decision making process to develop an appropriate treatment plan that best aligns with their goals and values. Li is empathetic, patient, open-minded, and an active listener, and she incorporates these techniques into her practice.
Li is fascinated by how the human brain and mind work. She believes mental health is part of the whole person and overall well-being and is the intersection of science and human experience. She was inspired to work in mental health after losing loved ones, her own personal family struggles, and working in other areas of healthcare. Outside of work, Li enjoys nature and the outdoors, spending time with people, and art. She is always looking for opportunities to volunteer in her community.
