About
Dr. Clayborne believes the foundation of great mental health care is a trusting, collaborative environment where patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves. Her approach is warm, patient-centered, and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, goals, and values. She views treatment as a partnership and believes patients should feel empowered to make informed decisions about their care. Dr. Clayborne also recognizes that healing can be influenced by many aspects of a person’s life including relationships, culture, and, for some, spirituality or faith, and welcomes those conversations as part of their care while respecting each person’s beliefs and preferences.
Dr. Clayborne chose psychiatry because she values building meaningful relationships and helping people navigate life’s challenges. Mental health impacts every aspect of our lives, and she feels privileged to walk alongside patients as they work toward healing, resilience, and personal growth. She is especially passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space where people feel understood and supported.
Outside of work, Dr. Clayborne enjoys traveling, attending concerts and live theater, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. Baking custom cakes and desserts is one of her favorite creative outlets and combines artistry with the joy of celebrating life’s special moments.
