About
Dr. Choudhry’s approach is grounded in building genuine, collaborative relationships with patients while maintaining clear professional boundaries. She strives to move away from the traditional paternalistic model of medicine, partnering with patients to understand their goals and make informed decisions together. Her greatest strengths are listening carefully, asking thoughtful questions to arrive at an accurate diagnosis, and quickly establishing trust and rapport. She believes that feeling heard is the foundation of effective psychiatric care.
Dr. Choudhry’s interest in mental health is deeply personal. Having navigated her own challenges earlier in life, she was inspired to help people who feel lost, overwhelmed, or hopeless find a path forward. She was drawn to psychiatry because there is rarely a one-size-fits-all solution—every person is different, and she enjoys working collaboratively with patients to find the treatment approach that best fits their unique needs.
Outside of work, Dr. Choudhry enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and finding opportunities to recharge so she can bring her best self to the people she cares for.
