Dr. Katarina (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who was drawn to the mental health field due to her desire to help others improve their emotional well-being and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves. She is passionate about helping young adults and college students navigate academic issues, stress management, self-esteem, perfectionism, and people-pleasing tendencies. With extensive experience in college counseling center settings, Dr. Katarina deeply values connecting with college students and supporting their growth, fulfillment, and overall well-being as they navigate the stressors, challenges, and self-discovery that accompany the college experience.
Dr. Katarina integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, compassion-focused therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and person-centered therapy, carefully tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs. Her therapeutic approach creates a supportive and compassionate space where patients can freely express themselves, gain insight, and make meaningful changes aligned with their values and aspirations. She specializes in working with anxiety and self-esteem concerns, and her clinical interests also include depression, adjustment concerns, stress management, and life transitions.
In her free time, Dr. Katarina enjoys reading, photography, hiking, and watching movies.
