Dr. Deniz Doruk Camsari journeyed to the West Coast after finishing medical school in Ankara, Turkey, in 2010. At Mayo Clinic, Dr. Camsari researched quantitative electroencephalogram (EEG) methods and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to investigate the neurophysiological markers of suicidality in adolescents and develop novel interventions to prevent suicide in this age group. Her research has been published in more than 20 peer-reviewed articles, and she has given national and international presentations on her research work.
