Jessica was drawn to the field of mental health through a deep desire to help others heal, a natural curiosity about human behavior, and her own experiences with adversity and personal growth. She is passionate about working with college students and believes that therapy during this formative stage of life can provide a strong foundation for long-term emotional well-being. Recognizing the academic, social, and personal challenges that often accompany the college experience, Jessica strives to create a safe and supportive space where students can explore, grow, and navigate life’s transitions.
As a Latina and first-generation therapist, Jessica is especially attuned to the complexities of culture, family expectations, and identity. She is committed to creating an environment where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Jessica incorporates evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based, relational, and trauma-informed approaches. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, family challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem issues.
Outside of her clinical work, Jessica enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, children, friends, and family.
