Mariah’s (she/her) approach is focused on being patient-centered, placing emphasis on patient autonomy while creating a safe environment to collaboratively explore individual challenges. She is direct in identifying and addressing core concerns while maintaining a nurturing environment. She believes in empowering patients with tools, knowledge, and strategies to gain confidence and understanding to achieve healthy well-being.
Mariah specializes in trauma, self-harm/suicidality, and mood disorders, supporting patients’ journeys of growth and healing through various modalities such as CBT, DBT, attachment-based family therapy, solution-focused and trauma-informed care with the use of EMDR.
Mariah was inspired to become a therapist by the connections in her life that provided an inside view on the beneficial difference that can be made with mental health services. Her own personal self-care comes from various forms of connection and adventure. Mariah enjoys traveling and exploring new places to broaden her experiences.
