Dominique’s approach is grounded in client-centered care, with an eclectic use of evidence-based interventions tailored to each person’s unique needs. She makes every effort to provide empathetic, intentional, and collaborative support in tandem with practical skills and strategies. She supports clients with growth-oriented exploration, plants seeds for desired changes and outcomes, and guides individuals toward deeper self-compassion and acceptance.
Dominique was raised by Vietnamese immigrant parents, who modeled what it meant to ‘be there’ for family and others in your community. She is genuinely connected to those values and finds it deep and profound that people can impact one another in so many ways. She learned early on that while survival requires grinding, thriving requires emotional connection to others and oneself. This inspired her to pursue a career in mental health, where she can encourage others to not carry their burdens alone.
Outside of work, she values solo, self-care activities such as running and walking, cozying up to a good show or movie, listening to R&B and soul music, and trying new recipes. She’s also a self-proclaimed foodie and enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, family, and friends.
