Rebecca Blenz (she/her) is a client-centered therapist who feels passionate about helping her clients create the life they want for themselves. College is a time of incredible growth and change and can be both exhilarating and challenging. Rebecca helps students to better understand themselves and their experiences, build resilience, and acquire skills that will enable them to thrive.
Rebecca focuses on meeting her clients where they are at and encouraging them to access their unique innate strengths and values. She utilizes therapeutic approaches that include CBT, ACT, EMDR, mindfulness, client-centered therapy, and the Gottman method.
Rebecca has experience working with depression/mood disorders, anxiety/social anxiety, trauma, anger management, marriage/relationship problems, life transitions, self-esteem, existential issues, stress management, and ADHD. She has served a diverse clientele over the course of her career, including undergraduate and graduate students, older adults, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
Rebecca enjoys being outdoors, and some of her favorite pursuits include windsurfing, hiking, and camping. She also fluent in German and likes to sing, read, and spend time with friends and family.
