Neil Sondov, LPC – Therapist in Greenville, SC | Mindpath Health
See more cliniciansAbout
Neil believes that therapy is, at its core, a human interaction rooted in kindness and compassion. With over 30 years of experience, he primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy but remains flexible to support each person’s unique needs. He values integrating evidence-based practice with practice-based evidence, viewing therapy as a dialogue where both therapist and patient learn from one another. Neil is particularly interested in supporting people through grief, believing that many challenges stem from unaddressed loss. Outside work, Neil enjoys traveling – especially to New Mexico and Austin, Texas – photography and music. He founded a local Soldier Songs and Voices chapter to support veterans with PTSD through songwriting. In 2016, he placed third on Jeopardy!, derailing his early retirement plans.
