Sabah is passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health journey. With experience ranging from college students to adults of all ages, she believes each person has a unique story worth honoring. Sabah has a holistic, patient-centered approach to care, prioritizing the whole person rather than just a diagnosis or set of symptoms. She values cultural competence as a core component of psychiatric care and works to create a comfortable, compassionate space where patients feel heard and understood. She integrates medication management with other evidence-based therapies to offer well-rounded, individualized treatment plans.
Sabah’s path to a career in mental health care began during her undergraduate years at the University of Texas at Austin, where she served as a mental health peer educator and facilitated college mental health support groups. That experience sparked her passion and shaped her professional goals. Before becoming a psychiatric clinician, Sabah worked as a registered nurse in both inpatient and outpatient settings, gaining valuable insight into the complex needs of individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
Outside work, Sabah enjoys traveling, exploring new coffee shops, spending time with her family, being in nature, and practicing Pilates.
