Dr. Gonzalez’s approach to working with patients is deeply rooted in compassion, human connection, and a sincere commitment to seeing each individual as more than their diagnosis. Dr. Gonzalez’s interest in mental health began as teenager watching Criminal Minds. She was fascinated by how the mind works, how behavior is shaped, and what drives people to act the way they do. Coming from a culture where mental health is often dismissed or minimized, she’s seen firsthand how emotional suffering can be quietly endured rather than openly addressed. Outside of work, she enjoys reading books, traveling, and spending time with her family. She believes laughter, vulnerability, and shared humanity are healing in their own right, and tries to bring that spirit into her work every day.
