Eduardo’s approach to working with patients is as a generalist using an eclectic style. He believes in developing a healthy therapeutic alliance by approaching each patient with an open mind, embracing diversity and various ways to address problems. Eduardo engages in client directed approach to treatment and utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral techniques, motivational interview, narrative therapy, play therapy techniques, solution-focused therapy, and trauma focused CBT to manage symptoms. Eduardo believes therapy is most effective when there is a collaboration between the patient and clinician. The patient is the hero of their story, and it is his passion to assist patients in achieving their treatment goals.

Eduardo was inspired by his personal experience in therapy as an adolescent. This was the fuel for assisting others to make positive changes in their lives through the therapeutic process. Outside of work, Eduardo enjoys visiting local theme parks, engaging in home improvement projects, landscaping and going on nature walks. These activities allow him to recharge. Additionally, Eduardo enjoys participating in workshops and seminars to make him a more effective clinician.
