Dr. Madura believes that every patient carries their own unique story, background, and strengths that shape who they are. His approach to care is rooted in patient-centered treatment, emphasizing collaboration and shared decision-making to ensure that each individual feels empowered and informed throughout their journey. As a child and adolescent psychiatrist who also works with adults, Dr. Madura recognizes that mental health challenges often arise from a combination of biological, developmental, and environmental factors. He values understanding each patient’s upbringing, cultural identity, and current life stressors to create a comprehensive and personalized treatment plan. Known for his approachable and thoughtful style, Dr. Madura embraces diversity and enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults alike.
Dr. Madura was drawn to psychiatry by his passion for helping individuals rediscover the strength that already exists within them, especially during life’s most challenging moments. He believes that people thrive with support and feels privileged to walk alongside children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate difficult experiences and work toward healing. Dr. Madura has a special interest in working with vulnerable populations, including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and those on the autism spectrum. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys running, spending time in nature, playing Xbox, and attending music concerts.
