Amy Armes, LMFT

Regional Psychotherapy Director, CA

Amy offers integrative, person-centered therapy with the goal of creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood, gain insight, and discover new ways to cope with life’s challenges. With over a decade of experience, she provides a compassionate and collaborative environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and respected. Whether navigating major life transitions, health concerns, family and relationships, or loss and grief, Amy works collaboratively to help clients reconnect with their strengths and sense of self.

Her approach is grounded in emotion-focused, psychodynamic, and interpersonal process work, while thoughtfully integrating evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices. Guided by trauma-informed and strength-based principles, Amy meets clients where they are and tailors treatment to support their unique goals and needs. She believes healing happens through authentic connection, emotional awareness, and the deepening of self-understanding.

Outside of her work as a therapist, Amy values balance and intentional self-care. She enjoys crocheting, folding origami, and gardening, and believes humor can create space for connection and relief, even in the midst of life’s challenges.
